Replacement Radiator/Condenser Cooling Fan Assembly for Nissan Altima - TYC 620040 Review

After checking the fuses and relays, I need to replace the fans on my 1998 Altima. This move went like a breeze and works great.

Does not match 2001 Maxima, although listed as compatible. The entire assembly is a few inches shorter, so it can't be bolted. I hope I can at least squeeze the new fans into the old shroud - we'll see.

The part worked great and was installed quickly. I'm not the best auto repair shop, but this was pretty easy. I had to loosen a few screws and then loosen the hose that was blocking removal of the old part and the part fell out.

I installed the thing yesterday. Fits perfectly, no problems installing on a 1998 Nissan Altima GXE; If you have a radiator fan problem, this is what you need. My sister-in-law's car made a loud grinding noise and her fan broke and needed replacing. They called parts stores all over town and wanted double the price for the fans they were selling, plus they had a few days to even get them delivered. Found this and she wanted it because it was cheaper and would take the same amount of time to get. Exact OE replacement as far as I could tell and worked great. Still using it in my car for the last 9 months and haven't had any problems with it at all.

This part WILL NOT FIT 2000 Infiniti I30, although the Revain car invoice says so (screenshot included). It's about an inch shorter in height so it can't be screwed on. We made wooden discs to lift it up and they worked to line up the holes but the build still didn't fit as there were other obstacles. I considered just swapping out the motors, but turns out there are subtle differences that prevent that from happening. Also, you're paying for the complete part, it should work as is! So we…
