🔌 Pack of 2 U.FL Mini PCI to Reverse Polarity SMA Pigtail WiFi Antenna Cables Review

Used these to replace a soldered antenna on my radio transmitter. I cut off the RPSMA from another connected one. I soldered the bare wires to my transmitter's pads and then installed the RPSMA where my antenna used to come out. Now I can use any antenna I want and it's detachable so I don't break it in my backpack anymore. I also used this to hook up a wifi booster to increase range. Great adapter with many functions.

One of the answers says the pigtail fits the Intel 7265NGW. No, that is not so. Bought this kit and an Intel 7265NGW card from Revain. The connector from the pigtail is larger than the connector on the card or vice versa. At least it doesn't work for me.

Looks like a good cable. However, make sure you get the right endings. I wanted it to match the Adafruit Ultimate GPS and improved GPS antenna. I didn't pay much attention to the ends because they were recommended for purchase along with my GPS and antenna combo. Unfortunately, there is a plug at the small end, like my antenna cable. I'm sure they will work great for external antennas on my particle photons.

arrived on time and well packaged. Well it is exactly as advertised. My only problem was that I needed a pigtail with pins to solder to the board, but I couldn't find such a beast. If anyone knows where to find it please let me know. In the meantime, I had to carefully strip this miniature coax cable to separate the thinner wire bundles from the can and attach them. Worked really well but for my new eye twitches haha. Jokes aside, the product is very well designed and works very well.

The stock UFL connector on my Unify Pro was very thick and broke easily. I see that this one is much thinner and easier to work with. It's a bit long for my application, but it's not a problem and may be useful for people who need it.

Nothing wrong with that, it matches the HC-12 transmitter perfectly which is why I wanted it. Be careful, the SMA socket side "Reverse Polarity" is not standard. So it's a plug with a pin inside, not a plug with a socket in the middle like you normally see. You can't connect this to a standard SMA connector as you are connecting two pins together. if you don't use an adapter, but even the adapter doesn't have to be standard.

Bought these pigtails to replace a weak built in antenna in my router. Lid off, disconnected the old ones, pulled out of the case, lined up with the hole and tightened the nut and everything worked great! Allowed me to use the best omnidirectional antenna to access my wifi in a crowded area. I have since replaced the router and it has been moved to a modified Wii U for better range with a gamepad.

For the price I paid one cable would have been just about right, but the kit is designed for two. They appear to be of the highest quality, although I haven't run high-precision RF testing on them. I really only wanted a short length of cable from the middle. I'll leave the connectors (and other cables) for future projects.
