Piece of Trash - Fish & Aquatic Pets

Never use this controller. If I could rate 0 starts I would bet. Don't set everything up before the return deadline. I had to work with it for a while to get the right parameters. The sensors were rubbish to begin with, but I got it working. A month later, when everything was going smoothly, I came home from work to find that it was running at full speed and my entire aquarium full of fish was destroyed! Zero stars! Garbage!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Minor problems

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

operating pressure gauge defective. Unpacked, never connected to CO2, gauge reading 140 psi (max). I will post an updated review once I have a replacement. UPDATE: DO NOT BUY! I sent the device back today. I was going to back order a new one but they fitted the broken one which I have back in stock. Don't trust this seller. I will never buy anything from Relaxbuty again, I advise you to save yourself the headache and do the same.

Cheap. You get what you pay for. The solenoid works so I give it two stars. He warns you not to increase the pressure too much or you risk damaging the "working" pressure gauge. However, the flow grip is so cheap you can't even tell if it works. When you realize it's too late, the pressure will be sky high, damaging the secondary gauge and rendering the working pressure useless. Never again.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • No power

Works great and especially for the price.

For the price it works very well and I haven't had any problems with sensors or solenoid after 4-5 months of use. It turns on and off every day by timer. Be sure to fully open the valve (until the largest knob disengages) so that the pressure surge from your CO2 tank entering your regulator doesn't destroy your sensors. It should be okay if you mess up as they're easy to replace, but I wouldn't do it all together.

Be careful with this purchase

The product is not the best in terms of sealing 6 joints that you have. I need to put some tape that attaches to prevent leakage. When I installed it had 4 connections out of the 6 it has. As a result, we managed to seal the rest, but I had to disassemble the block and remove the factory seal. but once completed the assembly was perfect. So if you're interested in buying this, keep in mind that you may need to take some time to review it and avoid revealing your co-authorship.

does the job. - Aquarium Pumps and Filters

Unit includes fuel gauge, working pressure gauge, needle valve and solenoid valve. A more precise needle valve would be useful for low flow rates such as 0-2 bpm. You have to play with it a bit, because even the smallest movement of the needle valve changes the speed significantly. However, once you set it where you want it, it will hold position/speed. It can be used as is so there is no need to replace the needle valve and you don't have to search the internet to find a working combination of

Nice solid controller.

Just received my regulator. It was a quick install and everything looks and works great. The feel is pleasant and firm. The only issue I have is that the regulator is perpendicular to the tank so the bubble counter is on the side instead of vertical. I should have known from another reviewer's photo. Update: Also 4 months with this and it still works fine. Solenoid still feels cold. Definitely a good buy. Update 2: It's been a little over a year now and I'm having a problem with the solenoid…

Great controller! Good price!

I had another regulator (Aquatec) that was four years old and had problems with CO2 leaks around the gauges and bubble counter so I decided to replace it with a real one. Regulator for beer kegs. WOW! What a great controller. The needle valve can be easily and precisely adjusted. My old one was a pain to set the bubble counter for the correct number of bubbles. I had to find an adapter to change from a CGA 320 thread to a paintball thread. They are and they can be bought for 12-15 dollars. I…
