Works great and isn't going anywhere.

If you're ready to move your Ubiquiti system and have a hard-to-reach room with an internet connection (and a switch or POE injector), this is a great solution. It's a bit more expensive and "inconvenient" than letting one of the mesh systems work its magic, but in my case the room in question was a virtual Faraday cage and therefore could only be effectively fixed with a wired access point.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Expensive

Very quick and easy installation into an existing wall socket. We didn't expect or achieve the wall to floor penetration that the UAC-PRO has, we just wanted a much better signal in a room and it delivers. No wires were required, we simply took an available, unused, already wired Category 6 outlet, installed it, connected it to our controller and off we went. On the underside of this hotspot we still have usable ports to download, which Ubiquiti once again throws out of the park.

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • No paint required

All Ubiquiti Unifi products are worth their money.

All Ubiquiti Unifi products are good value. They are of high quality and stably maintain a strong connection with devices. The only downside to this and other products is that you need some information technology/electronics experience to set up the system. This system is not for beginners. I have basic knowledge in electronics and even less in IT. With the help of the support team, I was finally able to get the system up and running. (Mandy was the best)

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Socket required

You must love a product that really works!

I have two of these, each connected to a Ubiquiti PoE switch. I replaced my regular outlet with these and they are just great. Not only are they a great access point, they also come with 2 wired Ethernet ports, one with PoE bandwidth. They look great and only stick out about half an inch from the wall. I just plugged it in, my UniFi controller found it, updated it and it works so easy.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Almost OK

Not supported - Ubiquity resets them

No firmware; I don't know why they keep selling it. This device appears to be no longer supported. I would give this product 0 stars if possible; It's absurd that they sell it but don't support it anymore.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Purchased June 2019, No Longer Supported 2/2021, Less Than 2 Years

Despite being a workhorse, Ubiquiti is starting to increase sales by ending firmware updates and security patches for devices, and this is one of the many I've had hacked - less than 2 years after I bought it.

Pros
  • Large Selection
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Extremely Easy Networking Product Setup

The Unifi line is one of the fastest and easiest access points to set up and manage. I highly recommend using the cloud key option. Wall Pro has a fantastic selection. We have a 13,000 SF house and a total of 5 Unifi hotspots to cover it. The wall pros have the best range of any indoor unit we've tried. You can set the radio according to the desired range. The two RJ45 ports work great. I have used the RJ45 POE port with great success. I configured mine via a 24-port 250W universal POE switch…

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Reliability
