Tie your Pi with a ribbon cable

Works great. In and of themselves, Pi cameras aren't as practical as once thought. So the 4 cameras I bought are useless. But these cables worked well for them.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Solid, reliable product

Although the thickness of the tape appears to be stiffer compared to the original tape that came with the Raspberry Pi 2 camera. Works like a clock. The extra length allows the Pi to live in a comfortable place without getting in the way. And I have a backup in case of accidents.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • I will add later

Great price, great product. The extra length will come in handy.

I didn't really need a long cable but it was worth it so I bought it. It turned out that by taking advantage of the length I was able to mount the RPI in a more convenient location and had additional room to route and hide the cable. Was concerned about the length and possible interference, but it works 100% with RPI cameras.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some issues

Works well. Very long

Works great so far. Replaces the shorter one I used for the camera on my 3D printer. It was constantly being pulled out of my RPI as the cart was fully raised and I moved the bed forward, ripping off some of the pillows. I now have 2 feet of extra cord so it doesn't break again and I have a spare cord in case something happens to it.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • No power

Works as described. no demands. I would advise everyone to think carefully about what length you need when purchasing. It's not as malleable or flexible as many cables. This is a ribbon cable. This reduces the utility value, and anyone who buys a cable for much longer than they need will regret the trouble with a neatly organized workplace.

Pros
  • Accessory
Cons
  • Only available in white

High quality but stiffer than the original

Much higher quality cable than the one that came with my Raspberry Pi camera. However, note a few things: This cable is much stiffer. Think of a thin piece of metal as stiff, unlike the original Pi Band which was thinner plastic. This is great for durability but comes at the expense of flexibility as the two cables are coiled tightly in the packaging so when coming out they tend to remain coiled. Otherwise it works well, image quality is good, just wants to stay minimized annoyingly.

Pros
  • Cable and cords
Cons
  • No instructions
