The product has lasted just over two months with repeated use. One side of the clip broke/bent and the product fell out of the opening. Actually the side holders were big for my phone (iPhone 12 Pro) but they fit perfectly on the bottom so it wasn't a problem. I had to remove the pop socket to install this product. Instead, I'm now trying a stronger magnetic vent holder.

The previous mechanical phone holder broke and didn't hold the vent well. I went to Amazon to find a replacement and found this one. I liked the description and I ordered it. It came at the right time and was installed quickly. It seems to be holding the vent pretty well, I had my doubts, but it worked. The phone can be easily placed and removed with one hand. I liked it so much that I immediately ordered another one for my wife's car.

This phone holder rests on the phone's downward weight to then raise the side arms that hold the phone. This phone holder is too tight. The curved buttons don't rotate to conform to the phone's shape like similar mounts I've tried. While it's very secure, which is good, it's so secure that I have to use two hands to pull the phone out, one to pull the phone out and the other to hold the cradle. This phone mount makes no sense.
