Doesn't work out of the box. :-(

My husband opened the box. The salt shaker worked but seemed to have difficulty moving when lowered. The springs just didn't have enough power to move these robotic shakers across the table - but this one did was of course just sloppily assembled and doesn't work at all while the other one barely works and you'll realize it won't work if I use it a few more times. Not well made.don't buy them.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Long wait

Tasteless but fun, maybe not very functional

Okay, they're cute. says the guy who also has a KitKat clock in the kitchen. lol i bought them because they are kinda cool and what they are. They work as advertised and are basically just cheap plastic clockwork toys that double as salt and pepper shakers. The pepper works well, but the salt dispenser's large opening is a bit large in my opinion, which is a bit of a surprise when you're trying to deal with a sodium load. The rest is cute, funny and entertaining.

Pros
  • Pretty
Cons
  • Good but not great

Save money for what works

OK I don't usually write reviews. However, being a designer, I feel obligated to write a review if something doesn't fit at all. Doesn't work as it should. So here in the list.1. The salt shaker never worked as promised on the packaging. After a few tries, the pepper man stopped too. The wells for salt and pepper are too small. Finish a meal with a seated family of five.3. The salt holes are too big, but the salt cavity is too small. Something that causes a lot of shaking and results in very…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Zero

Nice but cheap item for Salt & Pepper

Salt shaker robots are adorable. That's why they got three stars, but they're just cheap plastic toys to sprinkle salt and pepper in, not real objects that you can use daily for salt and pepper, they can't handle anything. permanent use. The wind works and the robots run very slowly across any flat surface, much to the delight of little fingers and eyes, but those little fingers will end up breaking these cheap plastic toys. If you're looking for something more educational, look elsewhere.

Pros
  • decanting salt by hand is a thing of the past!
Cons
  • write later

Cute but complete nonsense

If you're looking for salt and pepper shakers that will spice up your meal just fine, look elsewhere. BUT, if you're a person who loves bullshit like me, then that's great. On the plus side, the packaging is surprisingly fun! The downsides are that salt and pepper just go to their heads, so they retain very little at a time. The salt spout is really poorly designed, my friend keeps spilling salt because it comes out like a jet of salt. The winding function is fun but not reliable. All of this…

Pros
  • Fun addition to dinner
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Save money for something that works

OK I don't normally write reviews. However, being a designer, I feel responsible for writing a review when something doesn't quite work as it should. So, here, in paragraphs. 1.
