Buy Sharp small: Scissors

I've never bought scissors to cut my hair, but being stuck at home due to power outages this year I decided to buy one for my own use. Not sure what I was expecting in terms of sizing but it seems smaller than the scissors that the barbers and stylists I've gone to in the past have used and smaller than the scissors that my mother has that she used to cut her children. Practically adjusted

I have bought two different ULG shears, this one and the 6.5 inch model. The detachable finger shaft on this model is not as comfortable as the curved fixed shaft on the 6.5-inch model. However, in general, this 5-inch model is more comfortable for small hands, while the 6.5-inch model is more comfortable for small hands. Both ULG scissors have sharp edges and cut hair well.

Sharp as a razor. They fit my big hand.

I've been trimming my wife and I since 1985. I've had trouble finding good scissors for my large hands. They fit my hand perfectly without the orange cushion rings. (They fell out right away on first use) But they work for me. Yes, they are razor sharp as described. And I have no problem keeping a comb with them. I am sure I will use them for many years.

Bought after a hairdresser friend gave me some tips on what to look for in a pair of hairdressing scissors. These seemed to work fine. Ultra sharp and actually the perfect length for control, I found it easy to use.
