I ordered this for my grandson to protect his little table for doing art, cutting and drawing (9 yrs old and loves it) The mat may not be suitable for cutting through thicker or more durable materials.

Works fine for my purposes. I don't use it for measuring, so I can't attest to the accuracy of the rulers, but it protects my work surface great.

I haven't actually used this one yet, but I have been using rotary cutting mats for a very long time. I just got this one because the price was right and sometimes I don't have the space or the need for a big mat.

Yes, it is a good price and it helps me with my cutting but just not what I expected. Even with a new blade I have to take it easy when cutting and it is not what I call self healing. I have seen other boards that after a cut I can not see where it was cut on the board. I see every cut and can feel the cuts when I run my finger across. I ended just putting this on my workbench shelf and bought a rotary cutter. Yes, it was over $50 but a labor and time saver.

This is excellent. Does what it says it's supposed to for the money. The lines are hard to see at some point for cutting stained glass but it works for the purpose.

I have only been cutting on it for about 1 week, but am pleased. First time I have changed mat brands, and am happy with this one.

Used with leather work. Double sided - one green, one blue. Very thick. Lays flat. Measurements are in both metric and imperial. And, very glad about this -- no chemical smell! Right out of the box it was fine to use. There was a very faint smell the first day and then it was gone. I have been cutting with a rotary cutter and a straight blade with leather and pattern making papers.

Ive only had the mat for a week but I've been using it and you can’t even see where the it has self healed itself- so far very durable !

The mat arrived today and is good quality. Unfortunately, instead of rolling the mat, which would have probably made the shipping cheaper, it was folded and in a huge, but narrow box. The Matt has a pretty significant crease in it which may not relax and disappear. I will give it a few days and if the crease is still there it will go back. Also, the box had only three pieces of tape to close it, and all three had come loose so the box was open. Terrible packing!

This is a great cutting board for my work table, the only thing I wish is that it had a hard back so when I remove it to take pictures it didnt fold up but otherwise a perfectly good product.
