This lemon squeezer is very durable and of excellent quality. Before that I bought two aluminum coated yellow juicers. One of the handles broke off, the second had yellow paint peeling off. I decided I needed to invest in one made of stainless steel and this one is perfect. The silicone makes it easier to grip and seems like it sticks a lot better. It seems easier to keep clean. My others ended up with lemon zest on them.

I was afraid of this at first as I used to have an old fashioned heavy duty lemon squeezer and didn't think it would be as good. But I was pleasantly surprised as it worked even better and was much easier to use than my old one. I easily squeezed all the juice out of half a lemon with one squeeze and made a great lemonade. I highly recommend this juicer. Will make orange juice next time.

The juicer works well if you remove the grips on the handles. The thickness of the handles does not allow the handles to close when fully compressed. I squeezed 1 lemon and took it off. Juice, water and bacteria get caught in these handles, so just remove them. You can tell they were an afterthought. 3" hole squeezes out lemons and small oranges.
