Hang this on the back of my caravan and attach a bike rack to it. Works well and was very easy to install. The bikes are reliable and have not had any problems with the trailer hitch so far.

For mounting front canoe T-bar to Toyota Matrix. I was concerned it might not work, but the long U-bolts worked great around the metal bumper in the bumper cover.

Keep the mounting bolts from breaking I lost 3 brand new bikes on our second trip using this adapter. The brackets are only spot welded in 3 places and the bolts split, the bike rack fell off causing the bikes to be dragged down the road behind our camper. Don't trust this adapter.

Purchased for a trailer bumper. Very easy installation. Mounts above the bumper to increase ground clearance. Ideal for my luggage rack and bike rack. I like the hooks for the safety chain to hook onto the ratchet strap and the additional plate for a tighter and more secure grip.

We used this to tow a retractable camper trailer behind a small retractable bumper camper. Tongue weight was only about 100 pounds or less, but this setup worked flawlessly. I'm assuming the pop up is 1200lbs at travel weight. One of the lock nuts that came with it didn't have the plastic ring that let it "lock up".

While on vacation 1,000 miles from home today I noticed that one of the U-bolts had broken. I lost almost all three bikes. I had to reorganize half my RV and stuff in the back of my truck, taking apart the bikes and making them fit under my covers like I was playing Tetris. Poor quality U-bolts appear to be used. Don't risk it.

Fits perfectly on the rear bumper of my 4" caravan. Used to mount bikes and holds in place very well. According to the instructions, it can be mounted either below or above the bumper (preferably above the bumper in the case of bike racks). I would recommend this to anyone who has a caravan that needs a tow hitch for extra items like a bike rack.

This bolt-on hitch receiver is just what I needed. We use a hitch receiver to tow a vehicle with our large C class van. We wanted to take our bikes on a hike but there was no room in a van or car. I screwed this hitch receiver to the bumper of a van and it worked great. Make sure your bumper is a strong welded steel bumper. This thing fits right over our bumper's decorative diamond trim.
