I bought this because I have another one from UA that I bought a few years ago. Works perfectly! This is the closest thing to what I have. Really disappointed. While this is warm, flexible and breathable, it doesn't cover your ears properly, especially if you have a mouthpiece that goes under your chin. The design is different from what I bought before. It just doesn't help to keep your ears warm.

Great for extra head and neck protection in winter. I bought this item to use on snowboard trips when the weather can easily drop into the single digits or below. The balaclava is thin enough to be worn with a helmet while keeping your head and neck warm. The face shield also allows you to wear the item over your mouth and nose for extra protection whilst still allowing good airflow when breathing through the balaclava.

I got it for snowboarding but I'll end up only using it for hunting. The neck part is very short. It's almost impossible to tuck it under a jacket to protect it from the wind. Also, the pivot point for the facial area is below the head area, making it very difficult to support and cover essentials. I was constantly tucking my finger up/under the helmet to keep it in place. There are better ones for the price. Don't say I didn't try to warn you.

Ideal for law enforcement or anyone traveling off-road. This is my second UA balaclava as I lost my first. Very convenient. Runs comfortably at the neckline and slides down easily so you don't have to mute your radio or talk to people. Other than that, I'm in South Georgia and the weather almost never drops below 30 degrees. So keep in mind that my rating is only for "cold weather" to stay warm, ice, snow. Alaska weather. Treat the review with a grain of salt. Be sure.

They are great. Wear them as a scarf unless you're going out in the snow or in the wind. Just move them up or down over your head or leave them on your neck. They sell neck warmers that you can wear over them and if you combine the two you can really keep your body warm. Makes a good seal around the neck area.
