Pigmented marker pens holding a nib

I've been using American made marker pens for a while, but they usually write too lightly for my liking (I have to press fairly hard to put on a subtle dark line) and/or very quickly lose a point. I decided to switch to Japanese marker pens and the difference is noticeable - the pigment is much darker and the sharpness of the tip is better than their waxy American counterparts. I will use them from now on. It should be noted that Japanese marker pens are usually Vermillion, which is a warmerโ€ฆ

They can be magic

These are amazing things. I didn't buy these for the aesthetics of the pens, but they're really great if you care. I mean, they are so beautiful that I just want to look at them. But the most important thing is the color. Red/blue (sometimes referred to as control pens or postman pens) pens hit or miss in my experience, but they are amazing. The blue is deep and rich while the red is very bright. They blend very smoothly, and while you can't blend purple, heavy overlay creates a deep blackโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stationery holder and dispenser
Cons
  • Useless features

You will be very happy with these

I write almost exclusively in pencil and when I saw them I had to have them. I didn't have to wait nearly as long as I expected as they arrived well before the expected due date and although they came from the other end of the world they arrived in perfect condition. The box is in perfect condition and these pens are AWESOME! The thick, soft core is perfectly centered on each of them, and the embossing is luxurious gold. Not only are these pens a pretty face, they work extremely well. Theyโ€ฆ
