Unicorn SPiT 5770008 Thunder Bottle Review

I've only used it on wood so far but it seems to work as advertised. Just so you're not surprised, the color will appear chalky at first, but once you've picked the poly or whatever it should return to its original color. I mixed Blue Thunder and Navaho Jewel together.

I bought this for a hall counter I was building for my house and I was blown away. I prepped (sanded) and lit the wood before using the unicorn braid. The results speak for themselves! Make sure you use a transparent and glossy oil-based base if you want the color to really pop!

Love using this great product! It's non-toxic paint, gel paint, and icing all in one! It also smells like jasmine! I have tried many colors such as Blue Thunder, Navajo Jewel, Molly Red Pepper and Poseidon. A little goes a very long way, it's very concentrated, so don't let the small size of the bottle fool you! Experiment with water, alcohol and linseed oil if you want to use it as a stain instead of paint. It coats hardwoods and softwoods differently depending on the medium used, so test it on scrap wood first, but it produces lovely blue tones with a nice metallic sheen if you take your time and experiment.

After reading a lot about this material, I decided to try it myself. I want to say I'm not tricky at all, but unicorn saliva makes tricky work easy! So far I have used this for fill, wood and canvas painting. My next project is renovating old furniture. Great jasmine scent, washable with soap and water. Great for kids too!
