This battery will be dead in about ten minutes. I have bought them in the past and they have lasted for several years. This didn't even last a week. very disappointed.

I have a Uniden EXS9800 cordless phone that is over 15 years old and needs batteries. They almost fit in the handset, a bit snug, and now my phone is ready to use again.

Website says it's a replacement for GE TL96550. No, that is not so. The location of the metal contacts is very different. It will NOT fit in the slot of the GE TL96550 case. I am sending it back for a refund.

This battery was difficult to insert into the phone. This battery is 0.020 inch thicker than the original battery, which doesn't seem like much. But that was enough to force the battery into the phone. Also, the top and bottom halves of the outer battery case were opened up. I had to super glue it again.
