What do you expect from the best radar, it's worth the money.

Do not leave in the sun. For example, if it's a hot day, don't leave it attached to the windshield as the speaker or whatever is inside will melt. Always try to keep it out of direct sunlight. And buy another mount. The ones they give sucks. But dfr9 awesome costs 200

Worth buying.

Lots of customization options. Very customizable and has database updates available on the Uniden website. I like how it shows the actual frequency number used on the tape, making it easier to tell if it's real radar or a signal coming from other vehicles/shops. Other brands. I replaced an older Beltronics rx65.

Passed at least 5 police officers on the way from San Diego, California to Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I bought this for my cross country trip from San Diego, California to Ann Arbor, Michigan. the same band around 24. Also, their ka band worked twice. One of them is a police car pulling another guy, the other one I've never seen in the police force. However, I saw at least 5 police cars, either on the edge of the highway, hidden under the bridge, or on the bridge above the bridge. highway and the alarm did nothing. Luckily I'm not an aggressive driver, so I didn't get a ticket or anything like…
