5.8GHz rules! for phones

I was disappointed with the 2.4GHz Uniden phones I've used so I went for the higher frequency model - this phone is great - very reliable - great range and reception - and (very importantly) one of the few products WITHOUT a built in answering machine (so I can get an easy message from Comcast when I have pending messages). I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • FHSS digital technology expandable to 10 phones
Cons
  • Appearance

Uniden TRU-9360 for mobile phones

Good basic function phone with medium range and clarity. The price is fair. The features are better than average and easy to use and figure out. Graceful and stylish. The downside is that none of them can leave the house and talk very far. There's no speakerphone, which is handy for calls that put you on hold or navigate long menus. The long wait makes my ears sweat and my neck cramp. World.

Pros
  • Backlit keypad and display, bilingual menus
Cons
  • Zero

Excellent additional handset

I took this handset as an addition to my current system. Adding a new phone to the current system was easy. All I had to do was wait for it to charge, follow the instructions by plugging it into the main base and it was up and running in seconds. The range and sound quality of these phones are very good. They are very well made and make a very robust impression. The only consensus is that the screen caption should be either bold or larger as it's a little hard to see.

Pros
  • Phone book for 70 names and caller ID storage for 30 numbers
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Uniden TCX930 excellent technology

This phone is pretty good. Good instructions and an overnight charge made for a quick and incredibly easy setup. Just place your new phone in the base and voila! New train station! I like how all saved phone numbers are transferred to other phones. The downside might be that the phone thought it was "out of range" for two days, but a call to Uniden's "800" number caused the support reps to walk me through a few steps that got it back to the brought running, since OK. The smallest complaint…

Pros
  • Handsfree, intercom and call transfer between handsets, phonebook memory transfer between handsets, headset compatible
Cons
  • Damaged
