Just right! These shorts fit a little bit loose all over (not skin tight) and fit my legs, butt, and waist all the same. So so happy.I wear anything between an 8 and a 12. These are my favorite shorts! They wash and wear well without stretching out and they always look great. They are the perfect length, too!

I am 5-2, 165 pounds. I have a belly and waist rolls. These fit good,,I ordered size 12,,I could probably also wear a size 14 but plan on loosing weight,,,lol,,yeah right,,,but anyway. They are long enough, have back pockets for stuff and are sturdy, not sheer or see through and I bought the beige ones, or whatever color they call it. Would buy more if they had the color I wanted in my size.

The waist runs large and it became larger after one wash. I wish they made size 0 because I really like this style. That's my feedback!

I wear a 6 but thought I'll buy a size up 8. I'm glad I did. I love the fit. No crutch rising here. I bought these for an upcoming trip. I like the fact, that they're not too short or too long. The color is more of an aqua blue than whats pictured. Still, love them. Hope to find more in different colors.

These shorts are both flattering and functional. Super comfortable material that is lite and stretchy. The pork chop pockets are large and deep enough to hold my cell phone without any added bulk. The rear pockets hold any extras. Fit is straight and slimming . They wash easily holding their shape every time. The length is modest and if you want to cuff them, even cuter. I hope they continue to make this style. I have six pair😊

I love this fit for my stubby body. 5'2" and 160 lbs. Sadly, I bought a 12 and should have gone for the 10. These are so hard to find locally.

I wear size 10 and that is what I wear but they fit when you first out them on but as the day goes by they get loose. I would say order one size down. Very nice shorts

These are great shorts. I have 3 pairs in different colors. They are a nice modest length at 5 inches not too short and not too long like a Bermuda. The fabric is a little heavier but not hot. They do stretch a little throughout the day but are very comfortable. The pocket details are nice too.

Love this brand and style but the size I ordered was NOT true size. The size I buy in store which is identical fits perfect. This one didn't even clear my thighs.

5”7.5 140lbs wearing a size 8. Fit is great not too tight around my middle which is often a problem for me. I normally would go for a size 6 but based off of other reviews I went up one size and glad I did. Fabric is soft and has a stretch to it. Perfect length (5 inch). Love!

Material is kind of scratchy, even after washing with fabric softener. BEWARE - the white is see through. So either plan on going commando or just wearing them around the house. Darker colors probably aren't an issue but I'm not going to buy again to find out.

Yes, the shorts are Union Bay brand, for all the people who claim they’re not. They are Supplies, which is a division of Union Bay. All you need to do is read the label to confirm that. Also, the people who say the sizing is different than their other Alix shorts are confused. Union Bay makes these exact shorts in juniors sizing, but they are called Darcy, and another one just with a shorter inseam called Delaney. I love these shorts - they have a little bit of stretch, cute pockets, are the right length (I'm a 5'2" mom). Very comfortable! They do not stretch out or require a belt, which I love.
