United States Veteran Metal License Review

The quality of the frame is quite cheap. The metal part is broken, as if it was taken out of the press too quickly. From 15 feet it looks good, but from a few meters away it looks very cheap.

The yellow letters on a blue background are very attractive and I have had many compliments from people who see them. I'm very happy with it, seems to last longer than some of the other (plastic) license plate frames I've had.

Perfect, I wanted a professional title veteran owner. I didn't want a Vietnam Veteran on it. As a Vietnam veteran with the Blue Water Navy, I have never been to the country and have never been a combat vet. I didn't want to compare myself to my "brothers", the war veterans.

As a Navy Veteran I wanted a quality plate frame and here it is. It covers our district's name at the bottom of the sign, but that's okay. Our Florida plate shows that it is a Florida plate and the year marks are clearly visible in the upper right corner. Parking in converted vocational training car parks will also be made easier.

Honestly, this is poorly done. It looks good from a distance, but up close the paint is smudged, chipped/cracked and not the prettiest I've seen. I'd be pissed I wouldn't have listened to the reviews unless I only paid $11 for it. You get what you pay for here I think so buyers should beware.

11/05/2019: Love this product, it is beautiful and made of very hard durable metal. Hope it doesn't rust. Unfortunately it has two problems: 1) It covers my registration decal so I lifted the decal a bit. Hope it's legal. 2) There are only two screw holes on the top but none on the bottom. Two negatives, hence I'm rating it 3/5 stars.

Good quality, good price, worth recommending. Only thing I think would be better would be to have two top screws and attach the bottom of the license plate to the bottom of the holder. Small problem, just a small rattle when I close the tailgate. The driver's license slot on my other car is in a brushed stainless steel holder that's attached with two top screws and two tabs that can be bent over to lock to the bottom panel. Pros: The license plate holder is exactly as pictured, the blue and gold colors go well together. Quality is good too Cons: There are 2 very short plate clips on the back of the holder. I would recommend extending them by at least 1/4" if possible. Currently they barely hold the plate in place when attached to a vehicle, although marginal it would be useful.
