Works great: Replacement parts

I am using this product to manually turn on a monitor that is used in conjunction with a rear view camera on an old car. I especially like the red button that lights up when the switch is on. This serves as a reminder to turn off the monitor after the backup.

Worked on the backup camera

Bought this item to turn on the backup camera that I have installed on my BMW. It made installation so easy. Just use my 12 volt outlet in the trunk, which is never used, and the camera has a constant 12 volt power supply that shuts off when the car is turned off. Much better than turning on the reverse lights

Great idea but small

This is exactly what I need in terms of functionality (to start an external 12V transfer pump manually) but the installed fuse was already blown and the wiring possibly 16 gauge (extremely small). I bought 12 gauge wire and a new fuse and had it rewired to actually work as it should. So I'll leave it for the Switch but I'm disappointed with the quality.

Cannot withstand the current it is designed for.

I have two of these and as others have said the cord is not long enough for power but today I found that the plug is also missing. I modified the cord to handle the 10 amps the fuse is rated for and after about ten minutes of charging from about 7 amps the plug overheats to the point I almost burned myself on it but the fuse did has not burned out. I like this concept, but it only makes sense for very small loads.

Does not work, does not match the description, do not buy

Bought to connect an RV fan to the battery. The fan needs 5A/12V. The description says it has a 10A fuse so I figured it would be fine. When I got it the gauge of the cable didn't seem quite right compared to the fan I bought (other reviews mention the cable gauge was low), but so did when I plugged it in the second time to check , the fuse was blown. I opened it up to make sure that was all and found that the fuse is clearly marked as 5A so the product description is really just a lie. at…
