🍞 Efficient Bread Slicer -Multi-functional (Large): Slice Bread with Ease Review

It fits a very large handmade loaf (that bothered me) and is made of durable plastic. I put a piece of cardboard in front of the smallest slice slot (because that slot is too big for a sandwich). I also put it on a corner supporting it on both sides because it moves back and forth when cutting. But it has to be portable/lightweight and overall I'm very happy with it and the price is right!

poorly made. This product is so fragile that it produces wedge shaped slices. The guide blades move so much that I have had to stop cutting several times for fear of cutting my hand if they break. I expect the knife to start cutting through the base very soon. There is a guide for the blade, but not always where the knife meets the base. This product may not be sold in Big Lot's sales department for more than $5. After all, I'm better at cutting by hand.

Was looking for a way to cut bread more evenly. For that it works fine. The size is large enough to handle my Panasonic SB250 on the base with the paddle hole down. Three thicknesses is a nice touch. It folds small to save counter/closet space. The only downside is that folding it makes it a bit unstable when cutting at times. It takes some practice, but not bad. If you're too aggressive with the last part of the cut, you'll also bump into the device itself. Again, practice makes perfect.

It's convenient but you should use MacGiver unless you really want a big bread. I took some unused CDs and wrapped them in plastic wrap. Putting this "bag" in front of the bread will make the slices much thinner, which is what I want. I just leave boxed CDs stacked in this thing for easy access. If you use 1-3 CDs or similar you can get good discs of the desired thickness. I usually love 1.5 pounds and they fit great. A 2 pound loaf might be too big to fit in. I would give this product 5 stars for quality as it is sturdy and works great. However, my criticism is that even the smallest of the three suggested thicknesses is too thick. Although it says 15mm, which is just over half an inch, the thinnest slice I can cut from it is 3/4 inch and I can easily cut a slice of that size without the help of a bread slicer.
