Cleans almost anything but ideal for potatoes, carrots etc, heavy duty cleaning. I would buy another one just like that.

super sharp! and those jagged teeth really bite into anything, including any part of the body that comes close. but be careful! Unlike most other cleaners, there is no cover on the blade. it means you will be cut. be very, very careful.

This thing is damn sharp. I was peeling a large pumpkin and slipped a bit and the blade caught my finger. It was a nice clean cut that took over a week to heal. I'm not very good with this type of peeler and it's not the peeler's fault that I cut myself. This is a great tool.

I bought this primarily to peel sweet potatoes. The serrated blades do not cut very deeply into the skin. Of course it's less waste, but it takes me twice as long as my other peeler (but this one's handle broke off, so maybe I'm just not feeling good with the peeler). This may be better suited to cleaning more delicate items. Otherwise well made and very sharp.

It was cheap and I've always wanted to try the Y-knife. I really like this design more than the traditional straight knife. What I didn't expect is that the cutting blades have some kind of serration. I haven't decided yet if this works better or worse than regular plain blade dressers. It lies very comfortably in the hand and has a nice soft grip. The small protrusion on one end of the blade is very handy for wringing out bad spots on the vegetables you are peeling.
