Lasted only a year, now swollen - DANGEROUS!

Bought and installed in late 2020. By mid 2021, it would only hold about 1 hour of charge, with light web browsing. Now, the 2 cells on the left side are swollen, causing the metal laptop chassis to bend and bulge, so that it sits unevenly on the table. Battery cycle count is only 24. Seems like it was engineered to fail just outside of their "warranty". Avoid!

Battery issues for my opinion

I'm having this issue when I open the lid and press power button (due to sleep mode), Mac shows the "no charge" image but when I plug in charger/reset sec it turns on and has charge.Wrote an email to NinjaBatty CS a couple of weeks ago and still no response. It's been 10 days since I received the battery and I'm experiencing issues I never had with OEM.Aside from that, computer stays on and running for more time than before, which means it has potential. Hope I can solve the issue I'm having.

No Installation instructions provided

No installation instructions were included. Nothing to address the adhesive holding the old battery in place. No information regarding the removal of the old battery provided. Other similar kits do provide instructions and adhesive remover.

HOT HOT HOT in my review

This battery heats up like no other. it gets soo hot that my laptop starts to malfunction. i can feel the heat through the keyboard keys

Battery install - my new review

Once you look at on of the videos, the replacement was easy to install. Having the screwdrivers made it even better. Have already recommended the products to friends and family. 👍🏿

Battery Life! on my review.

I used CoconutBattery to get the info of the battery. It was a bigger battery than Apple's, but the life was 95% than 100%. It was 1 year old. No reply from seller from their warranty claim.

Not that impressed on my review.

I was expecting some more uptime, yes its an improvement over the old OEM battery but its not as long lasting as the fresh OEM one was. Still, cheap relatively easy to install.

Easier than I expected!

Had to replace the battery in my sons MacBook Pro. Had never opened up a Mac before. Took about 20 mins. The replacement battery made it like brand new.

Yes perfect battery! Finally!

I bought this for my 2015 Macbook Pro. The install was quick with the help of some video tutorials. Holding up perfectly, especially because I bought from another brand on Revain and it ended up being a bad battery. Ninjabatt is the way to go. Now my computer has another life!

Consistently Good Product

Always good life and easy install. Only thing I'm not thrilled with are the stupid little plastic locator nubs where you would normally put the screws back in. Easier for installing, yes, but I would have preferred to have the screws back in place.

Installation is easy.

Installation is straight forward.Original battery removal a bit of an issue. Mostly old, cooked adhesive.Waited 24 hours for battery exercising. Ran down to 10% as instructed. Charged to 100% plus an additional 2 hours. Has operated as described today. Will report in another 24 hours.

False Advertizwmwnt

I installed it and waited until it was charged, but it lasted only 1 hour to reach 10% of the charge so I recharged until it reached 100%. I am disappointed when it was discharged in 1 hour once again!

Ninjibatt is no better then what I replaced. I would not buy again. I want to return to Revain but is it really worth the hassle of removing the battery for a return?

Fits MacBook Pro 2015 vintage

Watch a YouTube video on changing these batteries before you start. Using a 91% alcohol to soften and clean the old adhesive is a must. Took about an hour being careful not to loose small screws and damage the ribbon cables.

I was thinking the battery would have more life to it. I is a large improvement but still I remember the original one lasting longer. It is still new so maybe it will improve as it is broken in?

Battery failing after 4 charge cycles

Battery was straightforward (but not easy) to replace following online videos. Worked well for the first few charge cycles, but after the third cycle, the battery fell from 80% to 2% after a restart. Battery diagnostics now indicate "Service Recommended." We'll see what their support team says, but cannot recommend at this time.

This battery does charge my MacBook pro early 2015 compared to other brand on the Revain store

I recently purchased a different battery which I then got it installed from a Mac repair store but some odd reason it was show the battery symbol but would not charge so I order a replacement and this time it did not show the battery symbol and also it still did not charge the battery so what I did is purchase this one and immediately it charge my battery and it works I have a MacBook pro early 2015 I can truly say this battery works with the MacBook pro those other ones I don't know thank you…
