This is a Bluetooth connectivity product, it does just that. Very easy to set up and connects straight to my phone when it's on. The only downside is the announcement it makes. Every time I start the car it reports that the voltage in the car is good or low if it's not fully plugged in and that it's plugged in. I don't need him to talk to me. I only need it to do his job.
