URO Parts 30751700 Water Pump with Bolts and Gasket Review

Was wary of buying brands to service my Volvo. This is not necessary, the water pump works well and in fact the coolant temperature seems to have dropped as well. Might be higher than stock, not sure. would recommend.

This part fits. But that's the only good thing I can say. After 14 months the pump started to leak. Save yourself the headache and buy a better one. It's not worth saving $30 if you have to replace every year.

Couldn't be cheaper and looks like a quality product. Installation can be done without removing the timing belt but requires removing the tensioner. Don't have a '98 S70 T5 anymore and don't know how long it will last?

Comparing this water pump to my old water pump, the pulley is slightly thinner across the width than the original. The timing belt is hanging off the edge of the pulley and that makes me a little nervous.

So far the water pump is working great. Great that it comes with the bolts you need when replacing the water pump. Just make sure you remove all old gasket material from the block before installing the new water pump.

Don't trust Revain "Parts fit this car". I ordered a part for my 2004 XC90 and it doesn't fit my car! No Revain will let me return it or get my money back even though the website says it will fit my car!
