Doesn't work with USB flash memory and micro USB connector

I tried to use this adapter to connect a USB flash drive to Android mobile phones (Moto G5 and Galaxy S7 Edge). A flash drive is connected on one side and a USB-micro-USB cable on the other. Both phones did not recognize the connection. This plug is unusable for me, I sent it back.

Not Working - USB to USB Adapter

Tried both adapters on a Windows 10 computer and a Mac with several different USB cables and external devices. Not only were the connections broken, they weren't transmitting anything yet, no power, no data. Will be returning these items.

Good quality but may not meet your needs

These adapters are well made and will likely last a long time. However, they may not meet your expectations. If you're using this adapter between two cables connecting a USB host to a USB device, it's likely to work well for you. But if you're trying to connect one host to another host, or one device to another device (like a PC to another PC or a phone to another phone), you might get frustrated.

THEY didn't work at all. Both. No data no power

I bought 2 packages. Both didn't work! NO POWER/DATA AT ALL Tried simple connections: flash drive to this adapter to USB-a/USB-c cable to USB-c port on laptop. Tried the same but just a plain USB mouse. Tried the same devices for this iPad Lightning cable adapter. Tried the same devices for Android tablet and Note 8. Tried a simple USB fan. does not start. Tried with different cables. Tried many devices. All results were without data and without power. The mouse did not light up. Returned Scott
