Don't Buy: Computers and Accessories

The screen doesn't slide well over the drive, making it difficult to connect. Drive speeds up files but doesn't show them afterward. Windows reports that disk space is full and formatting or deleting folders will not free up disk space.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • thoughtlessly

DO NOT BUY! Connected to a hacker!

DO NOT BUY! As soon as I downloaded the app and then put the USB stick in my phone, someone tried to get information about my support. It wasn't my bench!

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Reliability

Don't worry at all!

This is awful, received it an hour ago and sent it back straight away. I downloaded the app and it says it's disabled. It's not disabled because I'm holding it. Don't worry I should have listened to the negative reviews.

Pros
  • Quality finish
Cons
  • I'm worried

Works great in Tesla

I bought this for my Tesla Model 3 and also bought a 90 degree connector. I switched it to sentry mode and placed it on the center console.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • So far so good

Unit works Sliding body design Issue

Rating 3 due to the sliding cover issue. The device works great. It includes 1.1TB ex-FAT partitioned storage with Apple and USB-B/Micro-USB connectors. Unfortunately, the plastic stopper on the aluminum sliding cover tore off and I had to glue the stopper back on. No big deal, just surprised when it happened.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

crap, don't waste your money.

Useless thing for today's technology. It has a Thunderbolt port, but its speed doesn't even come close to the speed of Thunderbolt. More like a Windows 3.1 drive. Absolutely useless. It's easier to use Windows or iTunes and faster too. For example, transferring photos from my iPhone 6 literally took 10 minutes. In addition, it has no plugs for connections.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Reliability

Slow error scrap: USB sticks

These so-called mass storage devices are extremely slow and faulty. If you try to throw folders into the device it will copy eons and then if they are supposed to be copied and you try to open the folder it says the folder is empty. It took ten, ten hours to try to transfer 500 gigs to one of these things and when it "done" all the folders were empty.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Style 90

Don't buy this: this device loses data (!)

I had a fairly small (<100GB) data pack organized chronologically by folders (year1, year2, .) and I bought this device , to make a copy to share with someone. I used a Lenovo Thinkpad laptop with Windows. The hard drive was recognized correctly and the first set of folders seemed to be copied to it with no problems, maybe 30 gigabytes. But after trying to copy the second dataset, I found that parts of the first datapack were missing and parts of the second datapack were also nowhere to be…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • functionality
