Description of USB-hub (adapter, adapter) Aluminum Type-C 7 in 1 (Gray) for MacBook 13

The USB hub is made of lightweight aluminum, so it looks stylish and modern, and perfectly matches with Apple technology. The USB hub turns your Macbook''s two USB Type-C ports into seven, namely: 1 x HDMI, 1 x Thunderbolt 3, 1 x USB Type-C, 1 x SD, 1 x microSD, 2 x USB 3.0. That allows you to simultaneously connect a variety of gadgets to your MacBook, these can be flash drives, digital cameras, smartphones, tablets, camcorders, wired mice, wired keyboards and much, much more. Using a USB hub, you can not only connect devices for data synchronization, but also use the 4K HDMI port to display images from your MacBook to a 4K monitor and enjoy high resolution, as well as charge your MacBook. The USB hub does not require special programs or plug-ins, it is automatically detected by the Mac system.

I advise. Has some pros: I connected the monitor, mouse, keyboard and put the Mac on charge, everything works. The SD output has not yet been checked, as I check I will add a review. Different cons: It doesn’t fit the color at all, but it’s probably nitpicking, especially for the money)))

Worst product ever, disappointed with the purchase.

Caution inside USB 2.0! All connections through this hub are speed-limited - you won't get any USB 3. The real speed is even lower - for example, relatively fast SDXC cards (UHS-I v30) are read at a speed of about 20 MB / s. When you connect a powerful consumer (external 2.5" HDD), everything falls off and then connects again - it looks like power problems. Pass-through charging and HDMI work fine.

Pros
  • Compact, convenient, without unnecessary wires, decently looks.
Cons
  • Work speed. Consumer current limitation.
