Good for my desktop. The only problem I had was that you can't use hard water in it or it will build up and break down very quickly. I had to send it back and get a new one. I only use bottled or filtered water.

Such a cool humidifier, I just bought my second mother. I was afraid my cat would knock him over, but he didn't touch him. It's very easy to fill; I just keep a jug of distilled water in my bedroom and fill it up every night. It's a lot easier to fill than the one you clip your water bottle to. And it emits a very fine mist in just the right amount.

The humidifier is fine, although I wish the jet of steam was at an angle rather than straight up. It's very portable, I think it will be great for a hotel room. Although I hate the light. A bright blue light glows when the item is on. You can read on it. I've tried covering everything with black tape but it's still too bright. If I wanted a night light I would buy a night light.

My son has a bleeding disorder and gets nosebleeds when the air is too dry. We have a Honeywell humidifier and it works great, but when we left we needed something. I like how it humidifies the room, but if it's a large room I would suggest putting it next to you. It also works via USB, but if you have something like the official Revain PowerFast 9W OEM Charger and Power Adapter for Fire tablets and Kindle e-readers, you can just plug it into the wall. In general I like it.

I bought this little humidifier for travel and used it once at home to test. It switches off automatically after nine hours and has used up about half the water in the supplied cup. Pretty good cloud of vapor for such a little guy. My only gripe is that the bowl that came with it has this silly design with a rim on the inside so the water didn't shake out of the rim when I was trying to store the humidifier.
