Poor quality control - USB connector damaged upon delivery

The quality control on this unit was not impressive. One of the ports had a clearly dented shell, but somehow no one at the factory noticed. This worries me about the electrical integrity of the product and it says it can handle more current. yes no thanks I don't want my house on fire because someone missed a missing screw on one of the inner tires or something. Thumbs down.

I bought it in July 2020 because of its compact size, cable length, jacks and USB ports. We store it in a storage box on our covered patio. Worked well last summer. Now that it's less than a year old, the USB ports don't work anymore. The outlets work, but the USB ports are unusable. So now I'm back on the hunt for another device that doesn't work with 110V plugs and USB cables for my iPhones and other devices. I did a lot of research to find one that fits my needs. It looked great. I liked it when I took it out of the box. All the way until I hooked it up to the wall and a lamp. Won't work at all. Doesn't work with small 1500w heater, shuts off

[review updated below, downgraded from 3 stars to 1] Love the compact size and design, it's perfect for a coffee table in our living room without taking up too much space. But unfortunately it can't handle my personal heater's high setting, which is 1500 watts. The switch will turn off and stop charging all other connected devices. Not safety certified - not for use in USA

Very cool product with USB connectors. But upon receipt learned that the plastic making up the product is not the typical ABS you would expect from a product of this type. Plastics description updated to UL 94 V-0 but unknown. Does this apply to the thickness used? Big problem, the product is not certified for safety by any company.
