Mounting this accessory was a disaster! Based on my observations, the quality of the product is terrible. The brackets are too flimsy and not strong enough to support my computer. It kept falling off and made me lose my work multiple times. The only good thing about it is that it's cheap compared to other options. However, I would never recommend this to anyone as it would probably damage their computers too. Stay away from this product if you value your computers!

These adapter bays did the job of installing a 2.5" drive into a 3.5" desktop computer bay. My only advice is to put all the screws in the drive before tightening any of them (yes, that goes without saying), but that's the way it's supposed to be done. The holes are almost non-standard. Another problem is that the screw heads are so small that they don't work in the computer bay, the holes that the screws go through on the computer were larger than diameter and went straight through.
