I just bought this rug for my mother. She wanted to place a 2 inch or more thick rug in front of her washing machine to help her do laundry. Well we received the rug today and it is 2ft by 3ft but nowhere near 2 inches thick. It's about 1/3 inch. She keeps it but now I need to find something else for the purpose it was bought for. How can you be so far away in your measurements, I don't understand when it comes to such a small object.

I was very happy to find this mat and ordered two. One looks normal (but has a crumpled corner) and the other rug has an uneven edge. It is thin (1/2 inch) on one edge and varies in width, up to 1 inch on the others. When they arrived both carpets had bent/crumpled corners. I'm not sure they will even out over time. Both rugs appear to be cheaper than similar rugs we have purchased over the years. Ribbed carpet, color and other characteristics of these carpets are good, but not very aesthetic.

It breaks down into about a billion 1 inch or smaller pieces which then clog the washing machine filter and ruin your washing machine. How do I know? Was there. did this. A mess that keeps popping up. FYI, I don't think there is a self destruct warning on the product or in the ad. Definitely put this rug in the washing machine (better: keep it 3 meters away from the washing machine. Just in case.)
