The way this fitting attaches to the floor leaves a lot to be desired. I found myself pulling teeth and nails to remove it on $30,000 worth of equipment. Fortunately, the technique was not damaged, or at least no traces were left behind. Do not buy this product unless you want to damage what you are lubricating.

I would give it 1 star but it seems like all the grease guns are leaking and because it works it gets 3 stars. I just wish someone would invent one that doesn't lick at all. I put a tube of grease in it and never used it. The shelf is filled with oil from fat. I bought a new one hoping to fix the fact that the old one was leaking. Well, now I have two leaky grease guns.

I have used this to fill the tandem wheels on my boat trailer - the cartridge was easy to insert and the pressure generated was enough to lightly lubricate the hubs. This grease gun is better than the Lucas Heavy Duty - I have both - The Lucas Heavy Duty has the plastic cap slip off and doesn't have the same pressure.

I've spent the last 2 hours fitting the lid of a grease gun. If you have a vise, it helps a lot if you try to do it yourself. Screw the cap on the vise. Don't pinch the cap, just hold it over the release lever. Push the main body down onto the cap and tighten. I struggle for 2 hours to put the cap on the body of the oiler.

I paid extra to get this because I thought it would last a long time. Should not have been used until the return window opened. It didn't go through a tube of lube before it stopped working. Wasted 3 more tubes of lube trying to get it to work. He loses Prime. And every hole was sealed. No air leaks. Still not working. A piece of junk. Don't waste money. The only reason I gave one star is because I couldn't put a zero.

This grease gun is better than most, but refilling grease cartridges can be tricky. It's probably more about the cartridge than the pistol, but a bit sloppy. Just used it for the first time to lubricate new trailer bearings with a bearing partner. The clutch was tight on the transom, but when I filled the bearings with grease, the clutch would not disengage from the transom.
