Shank broken off

I thought I should have gotten two 1/8" bits with a 1/2" shank. One was 1/4 inch in diameter. The 1/8" bit broke after 19-1/2" of cutting travel at 3/16" deep. I ran this manually on my router table and ran very slowly. I think there's a reason they're so cheap. return request.
