This little guy moves a lot of air - calm!

I bought this fan to cool the generator in the engine room of my sailboat! The compact form factor was important to me and it fit perfectly in the small space I needed for the installation. It moves a lot of air - about 45 cfm, which might not sound like a lot, but it's actually quite a lot and it does its job fairly quietly, unlike some other fans I've researched that sounded bigger than jet engines. Before installing this fan, my alternator was getting hot. up to >400F! The temp is now…

Pros
  • Detachable plug with cable 40 cm +/-0.5 (16 inch)
Cons
  • Neutral

Pros
  • 2 pcs. Long life fan ball bearings (not waterproof)
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Good fan, but the case is cracked on delivery and a bit noisy.

First of all, this moves a ridiculous amount of air despite its small size. At full speed, you'll feel the air at 6 feet with ease. The downside is that it's noisy, especially after it's been hacked. It was pretty quiet for the first week or two, like someone using a hair dryer in another room through a closed door. But it got to the point where it sounded like the hair dryer was in the room with you. To compound the problem, mine came with a cracked case so I had to refill the case with epoxy…

Pros
  • 33.84 CFM @ 2300 RMP (Max) 50.8 dB-A (Max)
Cons
  • I'll add later

GPUs. And it's absolutely the best fan I've ever had, it's completely different from a regular fan. I have a 220cfm fan that bleeds air out of my cards and when I remove and reseat the 220cfm fan my GPU temp drops by 5C. Although a 220cfm fan pushes more air , is a blower fan has a much stronger vacuum. And he did exactly what I needed. My GPU went from 54 to 49 degrees Celsius, incredible results. It's definitely loud, but I give it a good rating because I have three other fans that are louder

Pros
  • AC input voltage 90~270V, ONLY 4.9W power consumption (NOT compatible with DC controller or connector, need to connect directly to AC)
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
