DO NOT BUY if you are using Cat5.

It would be great if I could use Cat6 at home. The picture is misleading and nowhere in the description is it mentioned that this is for Cat6. Had to send back and set up a new solution.

Works as it should

It's hard to write much about a device like this. These things either work or they don't, right out of the box. It does what it says on the tin: Offers an RJ-45 to RJ-11 adapter in case you need one.

works as advertised

used it to convert a digital phone line to work with internal wiring (ethernet) and phone lines around the house using an existing wiring closet as I didn't have the equipment to my own solution to crimp conveniently. Worked great, no unnecessary packaging, solved my problem.

Convert an Ethernet cable connection to a standard DSL phone cable connection and vice versa.

Working. It was a real pleasure to have this little splitter that I couldn't find anywhere else at this price. It was also a pleasure to interact with my modem and firewall to connect to the DSL outlet. I don't use a thinner socket. for everything.

This is the splitter under Accessories & Supplies

I bought two of these, one for each end of a 100 foot direct burial cable and they work well and do exactly what I had in mind. They let me connect the phone line with an ethernet cable and I still have an ethernet connection hole. I am very happy with the delivery and happy doing business with Revain.

DO NOT BUY IT DOESN'T WORK

Well when I read reviews I tend to take the negative ones with a grain of salt unless there are a lot of them. There were only a few bad reviews. This plug will not work with a standard DSL or telephone line. This is the correct purchase width that will not snap the fork. That does not work! What a waste of money. I shouldn't be sending it back as it will probably cost the same or almost the same in shipping. I bought a DSL RJ 11 telephone on Ethernet RJ45. I should get it tomorrow and fingers…
