Do not worry. The holes are too small to allow it.

Don't worry. The holes are too small to ensure proper drainage. But the real highlight is the bevel at the edge - the water has to flow up the slope to reach the holes! Apparently, those involved in the development of this subject failed their general science courses. :(

Doesn't work for me.

Not very happy with it. Bought because my kid puts things in the sink all the time and I wanted something she can't clean. They didn't fit in my sink and I missed the return window. As soon as I realized I'd missed it, I made another attempt to use them. This slows the water drain to the point where the sink fills up.

I thought it would be a good idea to stop myself from posting things in the .

They were ok for the price. However, they don't drain the water that quickly. I brought them here because I broke a regular sink plug. I thought it would be a good idea to stop myself throwing things down the drain. This does the job, just don't expect the water to drain out of the sink quickly.

Poor design, doesn't work well with a standard sink.

This product does not work well. We put it in the sink and the water drains very slowly. Also, not all the water drains out of the sink. A small amount remains pooled around this filter as it is positioned like a "dome" and there are no holes along the edge/bottom of the dome to drain the last amount of water. We won't use them.
