🔧 High-quality Vacuum Fix Replacement Belt for Dyson DC17 Models (10mm Wide) - Ensures Optimal Performance Review

It would be great if it could be replaced. Since my Dyson started using the new motor, the old Dyson motor is no longer available anywhere so I just gave it up.

This is not a 10mm women's belt as described in the description and FAQ. This is the 8mm version. Cannot be used on a 10mm brush. There is too much free play for proper operation and the belt will pull itself out of the grooves. You can see the comparison in the photos.

Works but slips and squeaks when vacuum is turned on. Confusion about which belt is needed between the two widths, I was clearly mistaken. I may have ordered the wrong thing so it may not be the seller's fault at all, but when I ordered the instructions were confusing so I can't say for sure.

This is the 8mm version. I ordered this particular model (11710-01-02) with a 10mm band because I wanted to replace it. Although an 8mm belt will work on a Dyson DC17 gear/rail, it is NOT the 10mm belt they claim and it can be assumed it won't last as long.

My wife has trouble sucking things into her vacuum that should be collected. I'm constantly catching clogs out of hoses. She ended up wrapping something around the brushes, causing the belt to break. After about 10 minutes I put on a new belt. The next day the hose was again clogged with a broken pencil. At least I didn't have to buy a new vacuum cleaner.

Dyson part number 11710-01-02 is a 10mm belt. This belt is not 10mm. This is the 8mm version which is part number 11710-01-01 after a web search. I ordered this particular model (11710-01-02) to have a 10mm belt as that is the number on the belt I was looking to replace. Luckily the 8mm belt works with the Dyson DC17 gear/chain I own, but it's NOT the 10mm belt with part number 11710-01-02.

Ordered for our old DC17 Absolute Animal. I accidentally caught something in the vacuum cleaner and managed to rip a few teeth off my native belt. Received this belt after reading some reviews that said it did not fit the advertised 10mm. I ordered it knowing it because I had delayed this repair for about a week and I had to vacuum! This is of course not 10mm as advertised by the seller and printed on the plastic packaging. I'd say it's more like 8 or 9mm. (I have added photos to this review). However, it still works.
