Maximize Space with Vacwel XL Ziplock Vacuum Storage Bags - Ideal for Comforters & Large Items (XXL + Jumbo Size) Review

This is my second order from this company. 4 out of 10 bags had to be thrown away because they let air through. They are very large and can accommodate items such as royal quilts, large decorative pillows and duvets. When I get back to our summer cabin I'll see if the first set is still airtight from last fall.

These bags are amazing. I have a king bed and a queen bed and I live in an apartment that doesn't have a lot of closet or storage space. I was able to put all the extra linens in these bags, compress them, and now store the compressed bags under each bed. The bags are reopened and resealed and as long as they don't have holes I can use them over and over again. I have enough left over to give to a friend. I am so happy with my purchase.

Bought for the size I need to store my triple foam mattress. I had to remove the pillow but that was to be expected. The zipper was very difficult to close. I had to go over it several times to make sure it was tight. The vacuum inlet was acceptable, but the bag itself failed as it expanded over the course of a week. I ended up having to vacuum again and then tape the entire package to keep it in place. Too late to come back I wouldn't recommend.

I think I've reordered these bags 3 times, I use them for everything that has to remain permanently closed. I live in Florida, moths and humidity are a problem so any sheets, extra pillows, clothes etc that I'm not using go in one of these bags. I have tried other brands but this is the best I know. I took a chance with them and wasn't surprised when they were terribly disappointed. Immediately after unpacking, two bags were damaged. There should be a small leak near the valve as the slightest air release could be heard near the nozzle. After I used up all the bags, another one didn't last all night. The worst. She opened it and put her things inside. Didn't overstuff and followed the instructions exactly. One of the bags looked used so I didn't use it (although the packaging was fully sealed). I love these bags. I needed huge bags to pack my 28 by 28 euro pillows and stumbled across the Vacwel bags which I bought in jumbo and XXL packs of 10.5.
