As another reviewer noted, it doesn't have enough threads. Luckily I was able to use the old metal lid that was on the sink.

Ideal for connecting a hose to a drain on a fish cleaning table. I use it as a garden/outdoor sink. The accordion hose that came with the table didn't even last a year. Glad I found this!

I used this to empty the sink in my shed. The garden hose connects to it and drains the water fairly quickly, I haven't had any leaks.

For connecting a garden hose to a Mustee shared sink drain. There was a bit of dripping at full pressure and a sink full of water, but it got better over time. Almost nothing now. I tried different washers but couldn't get a perfect seal at first. You could always lubricate with silicone. Probably not a typical joint, and the surfaces don't exactly touch.
