Divides a Lot - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

This is another case that often turns off during large file transfers. The best speeds I've been able to get using a 10Gbps cable are shown in the attached image. I used 970 EVO Plus 500GB.

Pros
  • Anodized aluminum for cooling; strong, durable and heat-dissipating properties; small pocket size; 104 x 40 x 15 mm and fits high capacity NVMe
Cons
  • Approximately

Change to another brand

This is a good build, but the quality and support are terrible. This went on for about a week and then the drive stopped responding. I tried to contact Vantec for a replacement, sent all the information needed and never got a reply. Later SilverStone bought MS11. Let's see how this one fares.

Pros
  • Asp; plug and play; Drivers are not required; Working with a USB connected SCSI plugged in and ready to use; Note: *os file level protection, switch to read-only
Cons
  • -

So far so good for computers and accessories

Bought from Micrometer because I needed it quicker than shipping. My use case is installing Ubuntu 18.04 directly on a mobile OS SSD. 2-NVMe. Read and write speed with CrystalDiskMark was about 800 - the write pad switch is a great feature and seems to work (the switch is on and my OS says it can't write to disk so it seems to work) - small downside: The case gets pretty hot (at least by my personal preference as I don't like it when my CPU temp goes above 60C) so keep it outdoors. I saw…

Pros
  • USB 3.1 Gen 2 with USB-C interface; Next-generation USB designed for very high speeds; Clear LED display of protected data; Read only red, read/write white
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Better than what you can get via USB

This case is pretty good. The aluminum on the outside appears to be extruded and then machined and has some bulk which I assume should help dissipate heat away from the drive. He's pretty small. Compared to a 2.5-inch body, it's about half the size, 20% shorter, and maybe a hair shorter. The package includes a short USB-C cable and a screwdriver to put everything together. there, and it's about as good as you're likely to get with a USB 3.1 Gen 2 (aka USB 3.2) 10Gb/s connection. I have attached
