The only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is because it takes too long to warm up. I used it to warm up wraps on the trail. 75 degrees and it took about an hour before my bandages were warm enough. The main problem with this device is that it only heats the bottom of the box. Other than that complaint, it worked fine. It also helps to turn food about halfway through heating.

Works very well. It takes longer than the paperwork within the States, but it's exactly what I wanted. The only problem I have is that the cigarette lighter fell apart where the fuse is and lost internal parts. That being said, I therefore recommend that you regularly check that it is tight. More modern foldable models in this class just don't "cook". They may be smaller, look prettier and so on, but they don't cook. They keep things warm or even warm them up over time, but don't actually cook. Believe me, I've tried almost all types and I'll come back to this one. It's ugly, like an old lunch box, but it works and gets HOT. Like all of these, they are designed to fail after a few years. 12v connectors only use the cheapest plastic and I've had two instances in the last ten years…
