If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I use them for everything from making appetizers look cute and fun, and for baking cakes. They add a nice fun touch.

Helped my child eat veggies and other foods they may not have tried. The set didn't include a cleaning brush inside, it's very annoying to clean (should be included but it isn't - isn't).

Bought to add a little more fun to veggies and new foods. My poor boy was very fond of them and as soon as he took the giraffe and started picking olives his face immediately went black before his eyes. The cutters work well but the main reason I bought this set was for small animals. He was very sad!

Wash immediately after use, otherwise it will be difficult to remove fruit residue from the inside. I left my cutter unwashed for about an hour and the brush that came with it was unable to remove the fruit residue inside. I had to leave it in hot water for a few minutes before washing. Also, the fruit gets stuck inside and has to be squeezed out every time. Not the most efficient tool, but fun for a kid.

I bought these to try and convince my child that veggies are actually fun. The problem is that most molds have tiny gaps and it's impossible to get perforated vegetables/cheese/meat out of the mold. Simple shapes like circles and flowers are great, but most of them are useless. Buy yourself another set that only contains basic shapes.

I love these, they are adorable. But I feel like they slip into the role too easily. We found it really difficult to get the food out of the cutter (especially the smaller sizes) so they just broke the food and you didn't get the shape. It was with apples and other fruits. I wish the part holding it didn't come loose so easily. I assumed it would push and lift (like a spring) but it pops off so easily as long as you push.
