Waste of money on kitchen utensils and gadgets

I can't wrap beets, spaghetti squash, squash with nuts or sweet potatoes. It will only work with vegetables, these are zucchini and cucumbers. Very very disappointed. And yes, I microwaved said veggies after reading about it online so they could be made into spirals. It does not work. I even facebooked the manufacturer that says on the box and didn't even get a response from them. Don't waste money on it. Only works for zucchini and cucumbers!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Modern

Ease of use and the look of a spiral vegetable.

I probably bought 4 different spiralizers, one of which costs about $60. None of them were easy to use and the last veg looks torn. A friend had a brand of Veggetti with her during our vacation at the lake. I had the opportunity to use it and I liked it. I paid $14 for mine all. That's great! Easy to use. Three blades for different results. Easy to clean. I definitely recommend this one.

Pros
  • don't waste too much time
Cons
  • sad packaging

This is by far the most wonderful kitchen utensil I've bought recently - it's perfect for a small kitchen, very easy to use and maintain and does a great job with courgettes, potatoes but not so . much with carrots (too small in diameter) but I'm sure I can find other veggies and maybe fruit that will work as well. Very economical so I would recommend it to anyone who is mindful of carbs and calories versus pasta - wins every time.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Great Spiralizer! on fruit and veg tools

I've had a few (slightly) cheaper manual spiralizers that were rubbish. They didn't work well, fell apart during use etc so ended up in the trash (sorry to Mother Earth for all the plastic waste!). Finally borrowed a vegetti from a friend and it worked great, ordered it myself the next day. Easy to use, makes great "Zoodles". My 11 year old daughter used it with no problems. I took off a star because the suction on the underside (to keep it in place on the countertop) isn't working properly…

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • disappears
