They are very cheap and cheaply made, I found them at my local auto parts store. it doesn't even match the width of my door panel at the window line. I too fall when you close the door.

I was a bit disappointed when I received them. They are smaller than I expected from car cup holders. They won't fit in a standard coffee mug or a very large sip or anything other than a small drink or medium sized bottle of water.

They are very cheaply made and were deformed. They are small and only hold 12 ounce mugs securely. Worst of all, the hook is too short for modern map doors. And they're a bit overpriced - I saw them at a $2.50 rest stop after I bought them.

THIS HOLDER IS NOT LARGE AT ALL, can hold a small plastic water bottle or soda can, not big enough for a small drink from a Jack n Box or McDonalds, not big enough for a small cup/cups of coffee. Get another appropriately sized binder to hold your beverage container because that won't fit.

I bought these for my 2005 Ford Crown Victoria LX because I had replaced the ashtrays/cups with gauges and needed a cup holder. The top of the "hook" isn't deep enough for my doors but might work to temporarily hold my drinks. The price is pretty good, but they're small (a can of Coke or medium-sized drink will do, but a Yeti probably won't.

I needed a cup holder for a pickup truck with a seat (no center console) so I decided on this set of two window cup holders. They are quite stable but will only fit in a medium sized well. A large drink will not fit all the way in. They work well for cans or for 1/2 liter or 20 oz. bottles but. I would have liked a larger and wider cup holder, but that's enough for now.
