My husband tried to use one of those hot pads to get a pizza out of the oven and burned his hand. He dropped the pan on the floor, He said it didn't look like anything. He walked right through the playground!

I use them to give my daughter's teachers gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week. The vinyl adheres well to it. I liked them a lot and I plan to buy them myself, the color is so bright and beautiful.

I wanted to replace some old worn square pot holders without spending too much money. I wasn't planning on getting the rectangular ones or the ones with a "pocket" to put my hand in, but I'm glad I did. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give these zero stars they are terrible and cheap. Your hand slips in and you can't grab it. If you actually push something in, it will burn your hand because they're so cheap and flimsy.

They are very stiff and thin and I don't feel they keep out the heat well or offer good support. Are they also a bit - I don't know - slippery? I'm wondering if they can improve after washing which may remove some of the manufacturing shine on the fabric and allow them to bond better and be more flexible.

I really like the oversized pot holders and these fit perfectly. If you use them as oven mitts, the heat gets through a little more and it's uncomfortable. I send them in the washer and dryer when they get dirty. Highly recommended. UPDATE after a few months of use: They aren't that heat resistant and I have to fold them in half to take the pan out of the oven. They shrink a lot when washed/dried.

These pot holders have a pocket that you can put your hand in for easy use. It absolutely doesn't work. Especially for everything that comes out of the oven. They don't feel flimsy, but if you stick your hand in your pocket and pull the muffin pan out of the oven, you better not get far with that hot pan. I bought these as a full time pot holder but they are at the bottom of the stack at the moment.

Looks very nice and thick. I haven't taken them apart, but they don't feel like they have heat reflective material in the middle. I have to walk about 8 feet from my oven where I put hot stuff - I can't hold pots/pans that long with these oven mitts even using all layers (in other words, without putting my hand in a pocket to stick). This does not work for me. If you could take something out of the oven and immediately put it on the counter, maybe it would work.
