The gloves are oversized.

Can't rate anything other than the fit. The gloves look good but are too big. I returned the 16 ounces because they were too big. In return I received 14 oz. They were still too big for me to use. I sent these back too. I couldn't test them, but optically they are fine. Shelf life unknown.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Too large. - Boxing gloves

Venum is a great brand with great quality. The gloves are faux leather and overall the quality is excellent, my problem. These gloves are VERY big. I checked the reviews before buying and knew this so I bought the 12 oz but they are still very large. If you have very large hands I would definitely recommend these.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Damaged

Thin pad. Not very good quality

Venum usually offers good quality gloves. I had 4 pairs of Venum gloves and bought them because they were on sale. Big mistake. Version 2.0 has a much better addition. After using version 3.0 on a pouch, my hands hurt. I think that's why it was so cheap there. Spend $20 more and get a better pair

Perfection, you can't ask for more.

Like it, moving from Everlast to this one is like two different worlds. It looks beautiful, fits perfectly, breathes, and in turn, pairs perfectly with capes. I'm 5ft 10", 200lbs, in great shape and 14oz fits me perfectly.

Great gloves for beginners. A bit expensive

These are great boxing gloves for beginners and novices alike. I made the mistake of buying gloves one size bigger. The downside of these gloves is that they are a bit pricey. It's made for beginners and most beginners don't want to spend a lot of money on a pair of gloves. But I would say it's worth it.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Expensive

Great look, great feel, almost perfect

Great looking gloves perfect for hand wraps. Great for hitting the bag hard, I've only used 2 sessions. Quality stitching and superb material that looked and felt great. Sent the gloves back because I felt light and when I weighed them, 1 glove was just under 15 oz. I liked the gloves so much that I switched to Elite.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Boring Pack

This is for the SHOW! You look cute!

I like Venum gloves for their comfort and design. This is my third pair and I promise I won't buy it again. The first two pairs of pads came out from the inside of the glove. This couple is like putting a pillow on your fists. Your opponent will love it when you hit him/her because they are very soft. Therefore it is not good for your joints. Venum Gloves: Great price but sacrifice comfort

These gloves barely lasted on a bag for a workout. I bought these to upgrade my 16oz Everlast gloves. I was drawn to the all black look and the good reviews I heard at my gym about how much the Venum has improved. But I was disappointed. Yes, they seem to be lighter than my last 16oz pair. But they also lacked padding and comfort. I have slightly larger hands and have never felt my grip fit in easily. Admittedly, I only used them for an hour at most. But sometimes you just know what doesn't fit

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
