👜 Stylish and Functional: Explore the Vera Bradley Cotton Glenna Satchel Purse Review

I have six original Glennas and this redesign falls short. again. Straps are the main problem. They are too short and too close together. I can hardly attach the straps to a thin jacket. The bag is also heavy and just uncomfortable. It doesn't hang as well as the original Glenna. The fabric also feels cheap and the plastic tabs are terrible. They make the bag a lot cheaper like you see at Walmart. Terrible redesign.

I wanted a bag with a large opening at the top, many inner and outer pockets, light and beautiful. This bag has it all. The only thing I would have wished for was a few more inches on my shoulder. It's really cute and fits in my wallet, tablet, sunglass case, water bottle when I need it, and room for so much more. I chose the charcoal gray medallion because I didn't want the design to be too bright. That's great. It has a light blue tint.

The pocket is wide enough to accommodate all pockets without interfering with adjacent pockets. Outside: 2 deep patch pockets; one in front and one in back. This bag is really beautiful, well made, with practical inner and outer pockets. Ruched sides and light blue/white striped lining give this bag a bohemian feel and make it easy to find your belongings. The shoulder strap is reinforced with leather-look fabric. For those who don't know, Vera Bradley is an American company that used to make quality bags out of 100% thick quilted cotton. I've been buying their bags since 2005.
