Honestly, I didn't have to open a gas station. A year later, I'm still using the original that came with the jar. I use the original every day and only wash it off once a month. This is really a great product.

It's quite elegant. This allows me to free the brush of paint and reuse the same brush while applying makeup. If it's a light color, like the green of Urban Decay's new Electric, the brush will hold the green as you twist the Vera Mona sponge, but won't transfer the green to your skin or your next eyeshadow. The easiest way to clean makeup brushes (but no liquid foundation). It literally takes a few seconds to wash one color off the brush and apply another. You just swipe this pad and it removes all color. My favorite way to easily clean my brushes. I can use one brush for all eye shadows. love it

Cleans makeup brushes well between washes. It lifts all the eye shadows etc off the brush. I love that the middle part can be used wet to use eyeshadow as an eyeliner.
