I bought this as a cinnamon sugar shaker and it works great for that. Just the right size, adjustable hole size, and great value.

I would give 5 stars but they were delivered to the wrong address. Baggers (I ordered 2) were fine. Not too light metal caliber, good size. It will look good when I engrave it.

I bought this one because of the different size holes on the lid. I can also close the top by twisting it. I want to control the amount of salt I use in cooking. It works out. I also like to leave the lid on so the cooking steam doesn't clog the salt holes. Very happy with my purchase.

Started leaking after a few days. I have loved her for days! Then salt suddenly began to flow down the sides. not where it screws on, but on the top adjustable cap where there's nothing I can do to stop it. So disappointed - they look great in the kitchen and I really liked that they have the ability to slow down the amount of salt. You must return.

I wrap it in a plastic bag and it's fine, but I wasn't sure how it would work with salt. This container is much safer with a tighter seal and nothing leaks. It's big and offers enough space for many applications.

This salt dispenser is well built. It looks good and the quality seems great. However, for my taste it has a serious design flaw. The salt output cannot be minimized properly. This works great when seasoning meat and adding salt to something you are cooking. However, if you just want to add a little salt to say boiled egg, you can't because there are always three open salt holes.

We used this for a homemade baby powder recipe. The adjustable hole size is very convenient, it can be changed from small holes to multiple sizes to large holes. I'd like a pen, but it's not difficult to hold. The top feels a little tight, but at least it doesn't fall off. It works fine for this use. I find this would work well for powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar as well. I wouldn't use it for salt or pepper, I think even the smallest hole world would be pretty big for that purpose.
